Backend engineer

We are PhishAR, a spin-out company from the University of Oxford. Our goal is to provide the highest level of security using augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) for detecting phishing attacks during authentication and online payments.
Our products are currently being tested by various international companies, from banking to education. As an example, we are part of Mastercard’s Start Path incubator, and the global CEO of Mastercard recently talked about us in an article for Wired.
What we expect
- Experience in developing SaaS products and RESTful API's
- Knowledge of JavaScript (or TypeScript), Node.js and nginx
- Practical experience at DevOps with emphasis on major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, ...)
- Ability to write high quality, easy to maintain, and secure code
- Practical experience in working with OAuth2, SAML, FIDO2 standards is an advantage
- Practical experience in deploying ML and DeepLearning frameworks is an advantage
- Experience working in a startup is an advantage
- Ability to work in a team, accept criticism, help younger colleagues, and maintain an open and friendly atmosphere
- Willingness to learn and implement new trends and technologies
- Experience in releasing applications in enterprise environments is an advantage
- Fluent both in written and spoken English
